Please be advised that in preparation for the Ste. Genevieve County Fair Parade, no parking will be allowed on the following streets between 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM on Friday, July 11th.
Main Street from Washington to Market Street
Market Street from Main to N 4th Street
N 4th Street from Market to Washington Street

Some of the best viewing areas include along the Yanks and Leons fields, the flood buyout lots along North Main, and throughout downtown Ste. Genevieve.

We encourage everyone to plan ahead, stay hydrated, and be prepared for the heat. Enjoy the parade and the many great events happening throughout the weekend!

For safety reasons, the northwest corner of the parking lot at the Ste. Genevieve County Nutrition Center (located behind the shopping plaza) will be closed to through traffic during ongoing street construction.

Drivers may access Parkwood Drive from Pointe Basse Drive during this time.

A reminder that fireworks are not allowed in the city limits of Ste. Genevieve.
B. Prohibitions. Except as herein provided, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale, display or use fireworks within the City limits.
C. Penalty. Any person who fails to comply with or violates this Article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subjected to a fine and/or imprisonment as stated in Section 100.260 of the Code of Ordinances. Any fireworks seized or confiscated as a result of a violation of this Article may be disposed of by the City's Chief of Police.

**UPDATE** Asphalt paving work downtown will continue today (6/26) on Market St., then on Main St. to S. Gabouri. Milling will continue on Main St. to St. Mary's Road to Seraphin St. Asphalt paving for Friday (6/27) & Monday (6/30) will be Main St./St. Mary's Road from S. Gabouri to Seraphin, S. Gabouri from Main to Front and Front St.

Asphalt paving continues on Thursday, 6/26, for Market St., Main St. to the train trestle, South Gabouri and Front, time permitting. The courthouse square will open up Thursday morning for traffic to give the asphalt time to cure overnight. Striping for parking spaces will happen in the future which will require blocking the streets again temporarily.

Asphalt will be milled on Market St. from 3rd St. to Front St., S 2nd St. & S Main St. on Wed. 6/25. Paving on Dubourg and on Market from 4th to 2nd will be on Wed. (6/25) morning with paving on the remainder of Market St., S 2nd St, S Main St., Front St, & S Gabouri St. on Thur. (6/26) & Fri. (6/27). Vehicle traffic will be limited but contractors plan on fully completing the downtown area street improvements by the end of the week.
