City of Ste. Genevieve Mayor Brian Keim, Ste. Genevieve Police Corporal Jared Roark & Officer Ryan Tellor hosted students and staff from Ste. Genevieve R-II School District to proclaim October 26th - 30th, 2026 as Red Ribbon Week and kick off the 2026 Drug-Free Red Ribbon Campaign in Ste. Genevieve.

It is the goal of the Missouri Red Ribbon Campaign and Ste. Genevieve to involve families, schools, businesses, churches, law enforcement agencies, hospitals, service organizations, government agencies, and individuals to demonstrate their commitment to healthy, drug-free choices by wearing and displaying red ribbons during the five-day campaign and by participating in community awareness programs.

All residents are encouraged to participate by wearing red during Red Ribbon week to demonstrate their commitment. You can also visit redribbon.com for a list of activities, FAQs, and resources.
