The City is exploring the possibility of contracting with a single residential trash service provider. This approach could help reduce wear and tear on city streets by limiting the number of collection trucks operating in neighborhoods, improve the City's ability to address nuisance properties, provide consistent and competitive monthly rates for all residents, and potentially include additional services such as recycling and bulk-item pickup if desired by the community.
