City of Ste. Genevieve Honors Herb Fallert with Mayoral Merit Award
The City of Ste. Genevieve is proud to announce that Herb Fallert has been awarded the Mayoral Merit Award in recognition of his lifetime of service, leadership, and dedication to the community. A lifelong resident, Fallert served as State Representative for Ste. Genevieve and Perry Counties from 1982 to 1994, where he helped advance key tourism initiatives that benefited communities across Missouri.
In addition to his public service, Fallert and his wife, Norma, owned and operated several local businesses and remained deeply involved in civic and community organizations. His contributions to economic development, historic preservation, and tourism have earned him numerous honors, including induction into the Missouri Tourism Hall of Fame. The City extends its sincere appreciation for his lasting impact and commitment to Ste. Genevieve.
